Helen O'Brien: I am an artist based in Manchester. I have Aspergers and attend Aspirations, a project that provides social and leisure opportunities for people with autism. I have been painting and drawing since childhood, and now want to share my work, in the hope that people will want to buy my work someday. I also attend Studio One. Through Studio One, I entered the Manchester Art Gallery's Inspired by... competition some years ago, and won! My work was displayed in the gallery for 2 months, and can be seen on the gallery's website on past Inspired by... winners.
